F-scale (1:20.3)
Western Red Cedar Shingles

Looking for real red cedar shingles that are textured and milled to scale? well, here you have it.
You just spent a lot of time and effort to make your latest project look as real as possible, so when it comes to putting the finishing touches on your roof, why settle for paper shingles?
The other alternative is the "doll house" shingle that is a little too far out of scale to look good topping your finescale model. Now you have a 3rd option.

Our cedar shingles are milled to F-scale (1:20.3) tolerances and textured to look more like the original.
Milled from Western Red Cedar to 0.025" (F-scale 1/2") thick and 4, 6 & 9" wide are currently available in 3 lengths. "cabin" style or 12" length are a good choice for roofs that need an 8" reveal or less. Also good for verticle applications such as shake siding. "standard" 16" length are the most common and last we have the longer "barn" style that are 24" long.

Besides looking realistic, an other advantage to the cedar is that it is easy to weather and if left alone it will silver just like the prototype when exposed to the sun.
